Certified Parking Sentry Automatic Bollards come in four different security levels: (all made from solid steel)

• GUARD DOG BOLLARDS: 4-1/2” diameter, 36" extended height.  Each Guard Dog is designed to stop a 5,000 pound vehicle traveling at 20 mph.
• RAM BOLLARDS: 6-5/8” diameter, 36" extended height. Each Ram bollard is designed to stop a 15,000 pound vehicle traveling at 30 mph.
• RHINO BOLLARDS: 8-5/8” diameter, 36" extended height. Each Rhino Bollard is designed to stop a 15,000 pound vehicle traveling at 40 mph.
• T-REX BOLLARDS: 14’’ diameter, 36" extended height.  Each T-Rex Bollard is designed to stop a 15,000 pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph.

UNIQUE INNOVATIVE DESIGN

With combined experience of over 100 years in hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and controls, we’ve developed a self-contained, near fail-safe system. Our senior engineer was one of the original designers who established the patent for the underground container system, which is now the U.S. standard for petroleum tanks.  Drawing from this experience, he developed a superior subterranean vessel to house our automatic bollard systems. The Parking Sentry & Security Bollard Company provides the only automatic bollard system comprised of a self-contained, fully functional, environmentally sealed, integrated unit that can be deployed individually or in sets.

As such, our automatic bollards are easy to install and maintain, reliable, secure, environmentally friendly, and cost effective.

At the click of a remote control or using most other control methods, each Parking Sentry Automatic Bollard set will extend or retract in approximately 4-6 seconds (other speeds are optional).

WHAT SETS OUR BOLLARDS APART

Conventional automatic bollard systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, or high voltage) require extensive excavation are hydraulic, pneumatic, or high voltage.  All of these approaches require extensive excavation for installation.  Hydraulic and pneumatic systems require underground plumbing or air hose networks. These can be fraught with problems including leakage (do I hear Hazmat team cleanup?), accumulated condensation in air hoses, and the intrusion of environmental debris.  Some high voltage systems require the expensive installation of underground chambers with manhole covers to access and maintain the bollards.  Our low voltage, DC powered bollards eliminate these problems.

Our computer control panels and 12 Volt battery re-chargers are housed in a small external control box; these are usually located in guard shacks, on walls or light poles, in underground roadway vaults, lawn vaults, etc.  These are connected to the bollard system via low voltage wires.  Low voltage wiring is safe and rarely subject to depth regulations and codes.
