If you are looking for elegant, precision engineered, manually removable security bollards with significant vehicle stopping power, then you've come to the right place.

BOBCAT Bollards are inserted into below grade Bollard Sockets and secured using jam-proof, unbreakable cylindrical keys. When BOBCATS are removed, Sockets are secured and protected with non-skid, tamper-proof steel Socket Caps.

Our standard BOBCAT Bollards are Stainless Steel, 6-5/8 inches in diameter, stand 36 inches tall (above grade), and weigh approximately 50 pounds.

The "Below-Grade Sockets" (hole bollards are placed in) are 18 inches deep. When removed from their sockets, the complete Bollard Unit stands 54 inches tall. The above grade portions of the Bollard can be further broken down into the 36 inch Bollard Tube and 4.5 inch diameter/18 inch long tongue which is inserted into the below grade socket. For ease of deployment and removal, BOBCATS also come with a stainless steel lift ring positioned 20 inches above the ground.

Aesthetically, our Bollards are completely customizable so Go wild! Standard, our BOBCAT Removable Bollards come in a variety of different designs. All of which come standard with LED lighting to alert approaching drivers, illuminate the surrounding ground, and enhance the beauty of your bollards. Depending on the design of your Bollards, you will have one of our two standard LED lighting arrangements. Either dual LED light rings or a single LED light that is contained within the Bollard Cap.

WEATHER PROOF DESIGN

WEATHERPROOF, NON-SKID CAPS

Our bollard socket caps are equipped with the same polyurethane double o-ring configurations

that comes with our Sockets. They are tamper proof and have non-skid surfaces.

WATER (SUMP PUMP)

Should invasive water or condensation enter the system, Bobcats are equipped with drains to

release accumulated water into below ground rock beds our other direct to drainpipes.

ANTI-CORROSIVE

Dual Powder-Coated Carbon Steel Bobcat Sockets are galvanized for anti-corrosion. The best

choice for bollards installed in marine or salt environments or on streets frequently treated

with salt and other corrosive chemicals, however, is STAINLESS STEEL. Stainless will ensure

that your bollards will look as good many years from now as on the day they are installed.

Using our simplified instructions, Bobcat Sockets are easy to install.(bollards do not need to be

HEAVY DUTY LOCKING SYSTEM

Conventional key locking bollard systems are notorious for jamming due to broken keys. Bobcats

are designed to prevent this problem. Bobcat bases slide easily into their sockets. Tapered

Bobcat bases are equipped with “L”-shaped slots. The installer inserts the bollard and twists it

two inches clockwise. Once the Bobcat is set, using an unbreakable tubular key, the users

engage the deadbolt, which prevents the bollard from being twisted back to its unlocked position

This failsafe, tamper-proof system assures that maintenance employees and fire departments

can quickly and reliably remove your bollards.

SECURITY LEVEL

To our knowledge, removable bollards do not have crash test ratings. If you consider our Bobcat Bollard's

construction, however, you will understand that it would be extremely difficult or near impossible to drive

any sort of four-wheeled vehicle through/over this barrier. Each Standard Bobcat consists of a 54 inch tall,

75 pound stainless steel cylinder inserted snugly into an 18" stainless steel socket. The sockets are

constructed from double layers of metal and are completely embedded in concrete. A typical reinforced

concrete footer is 2 x 2 feet sq. and 22" deep. While the impact of a 5,000 lbs. vehicle traveling at 30 MPH

might destroy the bollard, upon contact, any such vehicle would most likely be rendered instantly immobile.

Not only are Bobcats easy to install and maintain, well lighted for maximum visibility, anti-corrosive, and

attractive, but they provide significant stopping power. Bobcats will provide protection for citizens and property

and should reduce liability for safety minded individuals and organizations.

DEBRIS PROOF DESIGN

Depending on the drainage system selected, some Bobcat sockets and bollard tongues come

with double hi-grade polyurethane o-ring seals (the same type used in U.S. Military heavy

equipment in Afghanistan and Iraq). They are rated for from negative 65 degrees Fahrenheit

to positive 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Seals prevent ice, sand, grit, and other environmental

debris from infiltrating the Socket.

NO "BOLLARD LEAN"

You will be impressed with how easily tapered Bobcat extensions slip in and out of their below

grade sockets. Our below grade sockets come with a special co-polymer sleeve. This sleeve

serves to wipe clean the bollard tongue upon insertion and removal to eliminate any intrusive

sand or grit. It also insures a snug fit and eliminates any possibility of the dreaded "bollard lean"

which is so common in conventional removable bollards.
